The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which presents the Globes, announced Monday night that "30 Rock" star Tina Fey and "Parks and Recreation" lead Amy Poehler will emcee the 70th Golden Globe Awards.
"The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune in to see them in action," The president of the HFPA said in a statement.
Fey and Poehler have a long history together. They worked together on "Saturday Night Live" and in the 2008 film "Baby Mama."
Fey has won two Golden Globes for her performance on "30 Rock."
Ricky Gervais hosted the previous three Globes telecasts, courting controversy with his snarky remarks directed at celebrities.
NBC will air the ceremony live from Beverly Hills Jan. 13.
