British Bands' War of Words: One Direction, The Wanted Feud on Twitter
Members of the popular rival British bands One Direction and The Wanted have been engaged in a Twitter feud for the past week, and now they've promised to take their dispute offline and into real world.
The feud apparently started when One Direction's Zayn Malik called Max George a "geek" on Twitter.
Then George - of The Wanted - tweeted a picture of himself with Psy, the South Korean rapper, adding:
"Me and Psy getting messy! # geekandproud :)" George wrote in the Nov. 20 tweet.
The war of tweets escalated Nov. 23, and other band members joined in a few days later.
Screenshots of the exchange were posted on the Daily Mail newspaper.

Tom Parker of The Wanted tweeted: " @zaynmalik @maxthewanted I think "1 stripes" got his knickers in a twist bro," while Louis Tomlinson of One Direction urged Parker to "pipe down bad boy."
Malik then tweets to George: "Alright chlamidya boy." George urges Malik to "stay off the bud."
Malik then invites George to discuss the matter without their security present, and George agrees, following up with: "see you in new York big man ha u clown."
The tweets have since been removed from the band members' timelines.
"It's hard to tell right now how serious this really is," Sophie Schillaci of The Hollywood Reporter told ABC News. "Zane is kinda known for being the bad boy of One Direction."
Among One Direction's hits are the songs "Live While We're Young" and "What Makes You Beautiful." The Wanted's hits include "Glad You Came" and "I Found You."

Both bands are in New York for upcoming performances, but they're reportedly staying at separate hotels.
Fans seemed to find the Twitter spat entertaining.
"Why am I still laughing at "chlamidya boy," user @tomlintots tweeted.
