'Boy Meets World' Star Danielle Fishel Graduates, Gets Engaged
It has been quite a year for former "Boy Meets World" star Danielle Fishel.
First, it was announced that she is going to reprise her role as Topanga Lawrence in the upcoming Disney Channel spinoff series, "Girl Meets World." Then, on Wednesday the 31-year-old revealed on her Tumblr page that she is "officially a college graduate" and a bride-to-be.
Fishel went back to school four years ago at age 27. Fast forward to this week and she wrote, "I took my last two undergraduate finals today and I am so happy, relieved, and proud." The former teen actress added, "I persevered and sometimes I wasn't the oldest person in class, some of the whisperers became good friends, and I did so well in math, I even became a tutor. And that is how I met my fiancé."
Fishel is engaged to Tim Belusko, according to UsMagazine.com.
"If I had my way, my wedding reception might just be 3-4 hours of Usher's music," Fishel tweeted Dec. 12.
"Girl Meets World" will center on Riley, the 13-year-old daughter of Topanga and Ben Savage's character Corey Matthews.
