Frank Ocean Declines to Press Charges After Chris Brown Fight
R&B star Frank Ocean says he will not press charges against Chris Brown after their altercation outside a West Hollywood, Calif., recording studio.
"As a child, I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man," Ocean wrote on his Tumblr. "But as a man I am not a killer. I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit trite, is wisdom."
Brown allegedly punched Ocean over a parking spot at the studio Jan. 27, the Associated Press reported.

"got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish [his dog] everest was there," Ocean, 25, tweeted after the altercation, adding that he cut his finger.
Brown, 23, has yet to comment on the incident. Both artists are nominated for Grammy awards this Sunday and Ocean is set to perform.
Brown is still on probation from assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, although that have since reconciled. He was involved in a reported brawl with rapper Drake last summer at a New York City night club.
