'Django Unchained,' 'Ted' Lead MTV Movie Award Nominees
Just when you thought awards season ended with the Oscars, the nominees for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards were announced.
Quentin Tarantino's drama "Django Unchained" and Seth MacFarlane's comedy "Ted" are the leading nominees, with seven nods apiece, including in the movie of the year category.

Another nominee in the top category, "Silver Linings Playbook," trails with six nominations. Its star, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, has multiple acting nominations for her roles in that film as well as the horror flick "House at the End of the Street."
MTV is introducing two new categories this year: best shirtless performance and best musical moment.
As previously announced, Will Ferrell will receive MTV's first-ever "Comedic Genius" award.
You can now cast your vote for your favorites on MovieAwards.MTV.com, through April 13. The 2013 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Rebel Wilson, will air live from Culver City, Calif., on April 14.
