Country music legend Wynonna Judd was the first contestant to be voted off the dance floor in season 16 of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."

Judd, who has struggled in the three weeks of competition this season, looked disappointed when she learned her fate tonight during the weekly results show.

Asked how she felt about her time on the show, Judd replied: "I faced one of my biggest fears." She also said her pro partner, Tony Dovolani, had become a lifetime friend.

"I'm a singer, not a dancer, and I did the best I could," she said, adding that she was eager to get back to making her album and noting that she loved her country music fans more than ever.

Judd and comedian Andy Dick were both in the bottom two after Monday's prom night-themed performances. Judd ended up at the bottom of the pack when judges gave her just 15 out of a possible 30 points for her samba, which they said was sedate and lacking in dance quality.

Elimination is decided by viewers' votes and judges' scores. When those two numbers were combined, Judd had the lowest overall total.

There were no eliminations during last week's results show because figure skater Dorothy Hamill withdrew with a back injury, sparing that night's lowest scorer.

Tonight's show featured live performances by Huey Lewis and the News and Demi Lovato - and a surprise dance cameo from Bruno Tonioli, one of the program's three judges. Tonioli appeared as a background dancer as he channeled one of The Village People in reality star Sean Lowe's encore dance.

Show host Tom Bergeron also announced that the viewer-selected Prom King and Queen for Monday night were NFL player Jacoby Jones and Disney star Zendaya. They each received two bonus points on top of their scores.

Returning next week to perform are Dick, Jones, Zendaya, Lowe, country music singer Kellie Pickler, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, boxer Victor Ortiz, reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump, actor Ingo Rademacher and comedian D.L. Hughley.
