It's no secret that Jaden Smith and Kylie Jenner have been spending time together.

But in a new interview, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith's 14-year-old son says that, despite reports and what people think, he and Kim Kardashian's 15-year-old half-sister are just "best friends."

"I was in L.A., we were all hanging out. Then I went to New York and she came too, and then she came here [to London] and surprised me, so that's pretty baller," Smith, 14, gushed to Britain's Wonderland Magazine.

"She's one of my best friends. It's pretty awesome," he added.

Last month, Smith and Jenner were photographed leaving Caffe Nero restaurant in London, where he was one of the opening acts for his pal Justin Bieber.

Although for now the "Karate Kid" star is playing it close to the vest about whether he and Jenner are something more than "best friends," his debut hip-hop collection, "The Cool Café: CoolTape Volume 1," may hold some clues.

"It's really like a journey into my life - if you listen and pay attention to the lyrics," he told the magazine. "People like to hear honest things, and that's what really makes an artist."
