Jenna Jameson will not be facing a battery charge for an incident last weekend, in which she was accused of attacking someone at a Newport Beach, Calif., home.

A spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney's Office told ABCNews.com that prosecutors "declined to file charges based on insufficient evidence."

The incident occurred Saturday, when the alleged victim made a citizen's arrest on Jameson at the Newport Beach home until officers arrived, Newport Beach police Lt. Evan Sailor told The Associated Press earlier this week. No injuries were reported.

Jameson initially defended herself on Twitter, claiming a friend broke into her house and robbed her, before she deleted the post, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Jameson, who was among the biggest stars in porn when she left the industry in 2008, pleaded guilty last year to a DUI stemming from an incident in which her car struck a light pole in Westminster, Calif. She was sentenced to three years' informal probation.
