During her time on "Saturday Night Live," Kristen Wiig created memorable characters and became one of the most popular cast members ever. So, it's understandable that since leaving the show last year, life has been a bit of a readjustment.

"The show was seven years of my life and a six-day work week and you're constantly with your friends all day, all night," Wiig, 39, told Access Hollywood at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Thursday. "Then, when it's over, you kind of feel a little lost. "

After bowing out of the show, the "Bridesmaids" star has been spending more time with her beau, Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, and turning her attention to the big screen. She recently filmed "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" with director Ben Stiller. "He just did an amazing job," she gushed. She is currently gearing up for production of "Anchorman: The Legend Continues."

"I'm leaving in a few days to go film that," she continued. "I hope I can get through the scenes without ruining it by laughing. I'm so excited."
