He plays a special agent in "NCIS," but these days Michael Weatherly seems more excited about another big role in his life: expectant dad.

"We're expanding the brand," the actor, 44, told Entertainment Tonight. "[My wife] Bojana and I are indeed awaiting our second child. We're very excited."

Weatherly and his internist wife, whom he married in 2009, welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Olivia, last April. (The CBS star also has a son, August, from a previous marriage.)

As for this baby's sex, "We will find out, but I don't know [yet]," he said, adding that the baby is due in the fall. "We're very excited. You know, sleep's overrated."
