Watch Reese Witherspoon Get Handcuffed

VIDEO: Atlanta police bring actress into station for booking after disorderly conduct arrest.

Actress Reese Witherspoon was arrested for disorderly conduct early Friday morning in Atlanta, and now there's video footage of the police officer handcuffing her.

The arrest occurred when the Oscar winner's husband, CAA agent Jim Toth, was pulled over for driving erratically. According to the police report, he said he'd had one drink and agreed to perform a sobriety test.

At that point, Witherspoon, who was a passenger in the vehicle, allegedly became upset and started to get out of the car. "Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer," Trooper First Class J. Pyland wrote in his report. "I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet."

But she wasn't. The report goes on to detail how Witherspoon, 37, asked, "Do you know my name?" and then stated, "You're about to find out who I am."

On Sunday night, Witherspoon released a statement to ABC News through her publicist, calling the situation "scary."

"I clearly had one drink too many, and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said," she continued. "I was very disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police, and I'm very sorry for my behavior."
