'Dancing With the Stars': 'The Bachelor' Sean Lowe Voted Off in Week 8

Sean Lowe, who starred in "The Bachelor," was voted off "Dancing With the Stars" Tuesday night.

Judges on the ABC dance reality TV show have praised Lowe's enthusiasm even as they faulted his technique, but over the course of the season's eight weeks they've felt he'd shown improvement - until his performances Monday night, which landed him at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Lowe said he had a feeling he wouldn't be competing in next week's semifinals.

"When I'm in the bottom three with Jacoby and Kellie, I kind of knew my time with 'Dancing With the Stars' was over," he said today on "Good Morning America."

Upon learning the results last night, Lowe said: "I have enjoyed every second on it. I am truly blessed to have taken part in all this."

His partner, former "Dancing With the Stars" pro champion, Peta Murgatroyd, called Lowe "just the most humble, most wonderful guy," and added that he made the season fun for her.

But Lowe and Murgatroyd's dancing practice isn't completely over. The 'DWTS' duo announced today on "GMA" that Murgatroyd will actually be choreographing Lowe's wedding dance with fiancé, Catherine Giudici.

"It's going to be such a privilege," said Murgatroyd. "I'd love to be able to do a waltz. And Catherine is such a good dancer. Nobody knows that, but she's so naturally talented."

Lowe and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones were both in the danger of elimination Tuesday. Elimination is based on judges' scores and viewers' votes, and the star with the lowest overall total is the one sent home.

Tuesday's show featured live musical performances by Jason Derulo and Emeli Sandé.

In addition to Jones, returning next week to compete in the season 16 semifinals are Disney star Zendaya, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, country music star Kellie Pickler and soap opera star Ingo Rademacher.

They will perform dance styles that viewers picked for them on Twitter: Raisman will do afro jazz, Pickler got flamenco, Jones got the lindy hop, and Zendaya, hip hop, while Rademacher will perform the Charleston.

Comedian Andy Dick was voted off the show last week. He was preceded by boxing champion Victor Ortiz, comedian D.L. Hughley, country music legend Wynonna Judd and reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump who have already been eliminated this season. Figure skating legend Dorothy Hamill withdrew from the competition because of an injury.
