Three weeks after giving birth, actress Malin Akerman is introducing the world to her son, Sebastian.

Akerman, 34, shared a picture of her newborn son, along with the caption, "Looks like Sebastian gives his seal of approval! Did my hair today and this was my son's reaction … I think he likes it."

The "Rock of Ages" star gave birth to Sebastian on April 16. He is her first child with Italian musician Roberto Zincone, whom she married in June 2007.

Akerman, who stars in the comedy series "Children's Hospital," shared the news of Sebastian's birth on Twitter, writing, "My husband and I welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby boy to this world this morning! Biggest joy of my life!!!"

Three days later, she wrote, "Exhausted … but loving every moment of being a new mom!"
