On Thursday night, Dane Cook took part in "Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration" concert, alongside the likes of Aerosmith and James Taylor-but one thing set his performance apart from the rest: It was missing from the show's livestream.

"Sorry my set was not a part of the live stream or televised!" the comedian Tweeted on Friday. "I didn't want any of the new material to hit the airwaves yet!"

Critics took to Twitter to blast the comedian, calling him names and accusing him of turning his back on Boston.
