Star Sightings: Kristen Wiig Parties With 'SNL' Stars; Emma Stone, Katie Holmes and more
- It was a big weekend for "Saturday Night Live": Not only did Kristen Wiig come back to host the show for the first time since her departure last year, but Seth Meyers confirmed that next year, he'll take over "Late Night" for Jimmy Fallon. Naturally, they celebrated. After the show, the whole crew headed to Ruby Foo's in Times Square for a late dinner, where they joined by Max Greenfield, Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill. According to a partygoer, "the whole cast and crew were partying," though Wiig spent most of her time catching up with a very pregnant Maya Rudolph.
- TV stars are spending this week in New York City for the Upfronts, where networks debut their fall TV line-ups, but Joel McHale is still finding time to have fun. On Monday night, the "Community" star had dinner with a friend at Catch in the Meatpacking District. "They joked around with surrounding tables throughout their meal," a source says. "[They got] laughs throughout the room!"
- A girl's gotta eat! Emma Stone is in town to film the sequel to "Spider-Man," but she's hardly living off of craft services. Low-key in jeans, a blazer and sunglasses, the 24-year-old was all smiles as she picked up a few groceries (think: Kashi cereal) in Manhattan.
- Speaking of eating, at a Table to Table charity event honoring celeb chef Thomas Keller, chef David Burke auctioned off two home-cooked meals for 16 guests for a whopping $50,000 each. (For those counting, that's $3,125 a head!) "Two women were battling it out," said an observer, "so he got on stage and said he'd do two dinners!"
- To celebrate the launch of Eve's new album, "Lip Lock," designer Monika Chiang hosted a private party at her SoHo boutique. Guests including Estelle, Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg sipped Nicholas Feuillatte champagne and enjoyed Georgetown cupcakes adorned with - what else? - album imagery.
- Ever notice how stylish Suri Cruise always looks? Give credit to her mom, Katie Holmes. On Monday, the actress stopped into a New York City Gap to shop for the 7-year-old, loading up on brightly colored kids' clothes from the Diane von Furstenberg collection.
