Reggae group Toots & the Maytals are appealing to fans today to come forward with any video that shows the group’s lead singer being hit by a bottle during a weekend performance.

Frederick “Toots” Hibbert is recovering today after he was struck on the forehead  by the glass bottle Saturday night at the Dominion Riverrock concert in Richmond, Va.

A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault relating to the incident, according to the  Richmond Times-Dispatch.

The legendary reggae group, known for such classics as “Pressure Drop” and “Fine and Dandy,” asked for fans who may have evidence of the alleged crime to contact them.

“ANY FANS who were present and WHO SAW ANYTHING Please send THIS PAGE A DIRECT MESSAGE with your contact info so our staff can reach out to you. Thank you,” Toots & the Maytals wrote on their Facebook page.

Organizers of the three-day festival, which combines sports, music and river life, said the concert was immediately stopped after Hibbert was hit, and said spectators were asked to leave.

The 67-year-old singer was treated for a forehead laceration at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and was released, organizers said.

Despite the incident, festival organizers said Hibbert remained in good spirits and was disappointed the concert had to be ended early.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
