Kris Jenner Says Kardashian's Baby Name, North, Is 'Great! Why Not?'
On word that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had named their daughter North, critics slammed the couple for choosing such an odd moniker. But the reality-TV star's mother, Kris Jenner, is defending the choice.
"I think it's great. Why not?" Jenner said during an interview with Fox 4 News in Dallas. "That's what's going on these days, lots of creative names."

Kardashian, 32, and her rapper-producer boyfriend, 36, welcomed their daughter June 15 in Los Angeles and, since then, rumors have circulated that they've been calling her "Nori."
That was news to Grandma Jenner, 57.
"I guess?" she said when asked whether that is the baby's nickname. "Who knows? You let me know about that. You figure it out."

But one thing for sure, the grandmother of three said, the family is thrilled with the new addition.
"She's great, everybody's good. She's beautiful and everybody's right now healthy and happy and very, very blessed," Jenner said. "I'm still like, losing a little sleep this week over all the excitement but we're catching up, so it's a lot of fun."
She'd better catch up on those zzz's now. Jenner will be launching a syndicated talk show, "Kris," which will air for six weeks this summer.
"It's like one big party all summer long. It's going to be so much fun," she promised of the lifestyle program.
And if critics bash it, she can handle it.
"I tell my kids, 'Don't read stuff on the Internet.' It's definitely a tough thing," she said of the scrutiny her family faces.
"You just have to ignore it and go on with what you're doing and have a good time. We have a lot of love between us, so we're a pretty strong group. We can take it."
