Poor Simon Cowell. The famously snarky judge was pelted with eggs by a woman who stormed the stage during Saturday's finale of "Britain's Got Talent."

While opera-singing brothers Richard and Adam Johnson performed "The Impossible Dream," the woman, a viola player named Natalie Holt - according to Entertainment Weekly - sprang from the back-up orchestra and began hurling eggs at Cowell.

Cowell, who had to change his jacket, tweeted after the attack, "I tweeted yesterday that I didn't like eggs. Now I really don't like them."

He gave the Johnson brothers credit for keeping their cool. "Bloody hell! Just watched the Adam and Richard performance back. They didn't miss a note," Cowell tweeted.

Holt, it turns out, was a contestant on the show last year. After the show, seen by 13 million people, she released a statement saying, "I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I've never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do."

The Johnson brothers ended up placing third in the competition, while a Hungarian shadow-dance troupe, Attraction, took the top prize.
