How Do You Pronounce 'Giudice'?
Teresa and Joe Giudice were released on bond today after being indicted on 39 counts of fraud, including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, and bankruptcy fraud.
Fans of the couple's Bravo series, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," are chattering nonstop about the case, but some don't necessarily know how to pronounce their last name. ABC News has an answer.
"People Americanize it to "Jew-dice" and we just go with it, but I gave the correct Italian pronunciation in Skinny Italian - 'Judy Chay,'" Teresa Giudice, 41, wrote on Facebook last year. "You can say either, but I like the Italian better."

The reality star and her husband, 43, both of whom were released on $500,000 bonds, surrendered their passports and cannot travel outside of New Jersey and New York. They're due back in court on Aug. 14.
"They're serious charges," U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said of the allegations against the Giudices, adding that the number of charges show a pattern of fraud that spans a decade.
However, the embattled couple is sticking together - despite having separate legal counsels.
"I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me," Teresa Guidice said of her husband, who faces deportation to Italy. "I am committed to my family and intend to maintain our lives in the best way possible, which includes continuing my career. As a result, I am hopeful that we will resolve this matter with the government as quickly as possible."
