Oprah Winfrey has still got it.

The former talk show host queen is currently in the headlines for her role in "The Butler" after 15 years away from acting, but she's also attended the Swiss wedding of superstar Tina Turner, announced her OWN network has turned a profit and saved a high-profile starlet from making a potentially troublesome trip to Europe, all within the last month.

That starlet would be none other than Lindsay Lohan who sat down with Winfrey for an interview last Saturday, just days after checking out of Cliffside Malibu after a three-month stint in rehab as part of a plea deal to avoid jail time.

"At the end of the interview I said to her, "Look I have some concerns because I hear you're going to Europe and I just came from Europe," Winfrey said today on " Good Morning America." "Europe is the place to go if you want to feel really good and relaxed. It's very hard to go to Capri and not have a Bellini."

"So I was saying if I were you I would think about it. So she texted me and said, 'Yes, I will think about it but look I've already paid for it,'" Winfrey said. "And then I just heard this morning she's decided not to go. She's going to stay here and work on herself. I am so happy to hear and proud of her for that decision."

Winfrey said that her sit-down interview with Lohan, 27, set to air Aug. 16 on OWN, was the best she had ever seen the "Mean Girls" star, whose time in rehab stemmed from a June 2012 traffic case in which she pleaded no contest to reckless driving and lying to police

"I believe that she believes that she is now ready," Winfrey said. "She admitted that there had been other times when she was pretending to be ready and not quite sure and sometimes resentful that she was being, you know, put in the position where she had to go to rehab. I think this is the first time that I could see that she feels like it really benefited her."

Winfrey advised Lohan to stay away from Europe after traveling there herself in July to celebrate the nuptials of Tina Turner to her longtime partner, Erwin Bach.

"It was the happiest day of her life," Winfrey said of the 73-year-old music icon. "She asked everybody else to wear white because she came in black and green. She looked so beautiful and she was so happy."

"I spent the day with her the day before and we talked for like three hours without the camera," Winfrey said. "She says she never could believe she'd be this happy."

The on-camera portions of the pair's conversation, filmed during Turner's honeymoon in the South of France, will air on OWN on Aug. 25.

And it is OWN, the television network Winfrey launched nearly three years ago after ending her eponymous talk show, that Winfrey is most excited about today.

"It's better to make money than to lose it," Winfrey sang on "GMA," a joking reference to the network's turnaround announced last week from a bumpy start into profitability.

"I know a lot of people thought we couldn't or wouldn't or whatever but you can't listen to the naysayers," Winfrey said. "You have to hold on to what you really want to do."

"I'm grateful that Tyler Perry came and allowed us to make some headway faster than we thought we would but all of the staples of OWN, Master Class, nominated for an Emmy this year, and Super Soul Sunday, which I do and get to talk to all the leading thought leaders of our time, that's the reason I wanted to do it and I'm happiest when I'm having those kinds of conversations," she said.

Winfrey also revealed something not often seen in corporate America that could be the secret to OWN's success, a break twice per day for meditation.

"Yes it does, at 9 o'clock and 5 o'clock and then at 5:20," she said of the bell that rings in OWN offices to remind staff that meditation time has begun.
