Sarah Jessica Parker, 48, is from a different era, when most celebrities didn't have to deal with the paparazzi, reality television, or YouTube.

In the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, Parker talks about coming "from a different time and place" and how her love for husband Matthew Broderick, 51, is stronger than ever after 16 years.

"When [Matthew and I] were young people, all we ever wanted was to be good working actors," the "Sex and the City" star said. "We didn't think of fame or money because, honestly, money was never part of the dream. It was to work in theater, to be around those people whose work I was in total awe of."

She continued that the concept of celebrity is pretty foreign to her.

"I never saw the trappings; nobody talked about being a celebrity," she said. "So when our marriage came up in conversation, it wouldn't occur to us that we were obligated to respond to allegations or gossip."

The "Failure to Launch" star adds that her home life with Broderick and their three children is her top priority, one that she's happy is basically normal.

"I love Matthew Broderick. Call me crazy, but I love him," she gushed. "We're very devoted to our family and our lives. I love our life. I love that he's the father of my children, and it's because of him that there's this whole other world that I love."
