You don't often associate the movie "Mean Girls" with "absolutely adorable," but The White House pulled that off today when they tweeted a picture of Bo Obama with a play on one of the movie's famous lines.

"Bo, stop trying to make fetch happen," was a joke from the classic Lindsay Lohan film, where one of the main characters is told to stop trying to make "fetch" the trendy word for cool.

If that wasn't enough to make people take notice, Bo, the fluffy black and white Portuguese Water Dog, does the trick. The president's "best friend" is standing by the office's seal at attention with a tennis ball in his mouth begging to play catch.

Since the posting a little after 11 a.m. this morning, it has been retweeted almost 9,000 times.
