Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie Duhamel is back in her skinny jeans less than a month after giving birth to son Axl Jack Duhamel.

The 38-year-old singer looked amazing in fitted black jeans and a black and white tuxedo jacket when she stepped out Wednesday night for a dinner date with husband actor Josh Duhamel .

The 40-year-old "Transformers" actor and his wife welcomed their first child August 29, weighing in at 7 lbs., 10 oz.

"She is doing so great. She really is. She is happy," Josh Duhamel told E! News at a Hugo Boss event in New York City Tuesday. "She looks amazing for, you know, three weeks ago she gave birth and she looks probably better than she did before. I don't know if it's because of what she's been eating or what, she looks really, really great."

In February, the Black Eyed Peas singer took to Twitter to announce the pregnancy, tweeting "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump."
