Dolly Parton 'Resting at Home' After Car Accident
Dolly Parton had a scare Monday, but she's OK.
"I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good," the singer tweeted yesterday. "Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!"
Parton, 67, received minor injuries when the SUV in which she was riding was struck by another car, according to a news release from the Nashville Police Department.
"Parton was the front-seat passenger in a Nissan Xterra being driven by Judy Ogle, 68, of Nashville," the statement read. "They were traveling eastbound on Kirkwood Avenue when a Mitsubishi Diamante being driven by Diane Lish, 64, of Old Hickory, pulled into the intersection from Vaulx Lane. The two vehicles collided at 11:41 a.m. The investigation shows that Lish failed to yield.
