It's official - Jamie Dornan is the new Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades" movie.
"Stow your twitchy palms ladies… our man is here. Welcome to #TeamFifty @JamieDornan1 x," E. L. James tweeted yesterday.
Dornan, 31, is a former Calvin Klein model and "Once Upon a Time" actor. Reports started to surface midweek that he would replace Charlie Hunnam after the "Sons of Anarchy" star dropped out of the film due to a busy schedule.
The studio declined to confirm the casting, but the author's tweet seals the deal.
James, the writer behind the very successful book series that inspired the movie adaptation, has been very active in tweeting castings that pertain to the film.
She tweeted, "I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey," when the young actress, 24, was cast.
And she tweeted when Charlie Hunnam was cast and even when he left the project.
"I wish Charlie all the best. x," she posted.
