Kate Upton Wants You to Grow a Mustache Like Tom Selleck's
Fellas, would you grow a mustache for Kate Upton?
The Sports Illustrated cover girl is on a mustache mission for November to help raise awareness about men's health issues.
"It started in Australia and I think it was kind of guys being guys and joking around. They were seeing how long they can grow out their hair," Upton, 21, said today on " GMA LIVE!" "But it's for such a great cause."
The month-long event, dubbed Movember, urges men to sign up to grow a mustache for men's health charities. Clean-shaven men grow and groom their Mo, short for mustache, and ask friends and family members to contribute.
Women can take part too, hence Upton's involvement as a "Mo Sista," or a female supporter of the mustache cause.
"I think that it's fun. It's a great month and it's for a good cause," said Upton, who's the captain of Team Gillette, a corporate partner on the project that will also donate to the cause. "You have that excuse [to grow a mustache]. You can try something new."

On " GMA LIVE!," " Good Morning America's" daily Web show, the supermodel offered some style tips for guys embarking on the Movember challenge.
"I've never had a mustache, so I'm not the expert," Upton joked. "I say keep it trim. Being a part of Gillette, I think we're thinking not just grow it out, but keep it a little more trim."
If you're looking for mustache inspiration, look no further. Upton rated a few iconic celebrity mustaches today in the studio from "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek's to Lionel Richie's to her hands-down standard: Tom Selleck.
Does this mean Upton's man must have a mustache like Selleck's? "Well, it's for a good cause, so maybe anybody," she said.
Upton is reportedly linked to former "Dancing With The Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

What Upton says is sexy goes. Upton was named last month the 2013 Model of the Year at the 10th Annual Style Awards and graced the covers of Vogue, Elle and October's Vanity Fair, not to mention Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition two years in a row.
"I love the first cover, but Antarctica, I survived it. So for me there's a lot of memories," she said. "I feel like Superwoman. Looking back, I'm like, 'Killed it.'"

As for the chances of an Upton "three-peat" on the SI cover? "I really have no say in that, but I wouldn't say no if they wanted to put me on the cover a third time," she said.
