More than three years after announcing their engagement, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are finally married.

The couple wed quietly Thursday at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office. Bell took to Twitter the next day to joke about being married.

"Wife coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in the morning :) @daxshepard1," the "Veronica Mars" star wrote.

Bell, 33, and Shepard, 38, began dating in late-2007 and were engaged in 2009, but decided to delay the actual wedding until California legalized same-sex marriage, which happened in June.

". @daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove" Bell tweeted June 26 after the Defense of Marriage Act was overturned.

"DOMA is dead. Prop 8 is dead. Now let's bring my big, gay marriage to @IMKristenBell to Life!!!!" Shepard replied.

The newlyweds already welcomed their first child, daughter Lincoln, back in March.

"My new roomate [sic] poops her pants and doesn't pay rent…basically @daxshepard1 pre-sobriety :) welcome baby Lincoln xo," Bell joked after the baby's birth.
