Mick Jagger Says He Never Made Pass at Katy Perry
Perhaps it was all a teenage dream - Mick Jagger denies hitting on Katy Perry as an 18-year-old before she was famous.
"Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry," a rep for the Rolling Stone frontman said in a statement to ABC News. "Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else."
During an interview with an Australian radio show this week, the 29-year-old pop star said she sang backup for Jagger's 2004 song "Old Habits Die Hard."
She also said she had dinner with the veteran rocker, who is 41 years her senior, and that "he hit on me when I was, like, 18."
Perry, who made a guest appearance on the Rolling Stones' tour earlier this year singing "Beast of Burden," told the interviewer that the incident was "a long time ago and since then he's been very kind."
