Sarah Michelle Gellar achieved iconic status early in her career as the vampire-fighting teen in the hit TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Ten years after the show's conclusion, Gellar is all grown up. In the November issue of More magazine, the 36-year-old mother of two dishes on life after "Buffy" and reveals how she balances work and family.

Gellar traded in her stake-wielding past for a simpler life that includes husband Freddie Prinze Jr. and the couple's children, Charlotte, 3, and Rocky, 1. In the interview, the veteran TV star revealed how she strikes a balance between the growing Prinze clan and her enduring career.

"[I have] a separate life," she confessed. "I always say I'm Sarah Michelle Gellar when I work and I'm Sarah Prinze in the other life."

Gellar and Prinze, 37, met on the set of the '90s thriller "I Know What You Did Last Summer," and have been married for 11 years. When questioned on the secret to her marriage success, Gellar had this to say:

"I don't know if there's a secret - if I had a secret, I'd write a book and retire. But we talk. We check in."

While she is careful about dispensing relationship advice, Gellar holds no bars when stating what she wants. Asked what she wished she had more of, the adoring mom admitted, "Me time."

"If I have extra time, I want to be with my kids," she said. "I still have that mom guilt. I haven't had a facial since my first child was born."

Still, Gellar is no stranger to rest and relaxation, recommending "girl dates with your friends" as a great way for more women to relieve stress.

Indeed, things have changed for the infamous vampire slayer and, according to Gellar, she has no intention of going back.

"It was a cultural phenomenon, but the hours were insane," she said of the famed series. "I could barely make it home to bed."

Gellar appears this fall alongside funnyman Robin Williams in the CBS series "The Crazy Ones."
