Bob Barker is coming back to "The Price Is Right."

The former host will mark his 90th birthday by making a rare appearance on the longest-running TV game show.

CBS has announced a week of shows leading up to the big day from Dec. 9 to Dec. 13 to honor the legendary host. Each day will feature pet adoptions, a cause near and dear to Barker's heart.

On Dec. 12, Barker's actual birthday, he'll make a surprise appearance and even present a special showcase.

Perhaps the show is making up for last year when Barker was not invited to participate in the show's 40th anniversary events.

Producers "chose to ignore me," Barker told The Associated Press at the time.

Barker retired after 35 years as host of the show in 2007, passing the microphone to comedian and host Drew Carey.
