Find Out Miley Cyrus' Response to Pot-Smoking Controversy
After blowing smoke from what appeared to be a joint on stage at MTV's European Music Awards, Miley Cyrus is blowing off criticism over her latest antics.
"Sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give AF," she tweeted Monday.
As for whether she actually lit up a joint on stage - or off - Cyrus, who'll be 21 next week, offers some clues when describing the evening.
"Last night was a blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr," she tweeted after attending an after-party hosted by Katy Perry. "Thanks @katyperry for hosting. So much fun last night! Amsterdam, you're the dopesssst, thank you for always being so good to me."
Miley Cyrus Smokes on Stage at MTV EMAs
Earlier in the evening, while accepting her Best Video award, Cyrus told the crowd, "I couldn't fit this award in my bag, but I did find this," and pulled out what looked like a joint, which she then proceeded to smoke.
MTV edited out her on-stage smoking for the U.S. telecast of the EMAs.
But audiences did see her open the ceremony in a silver spandex spacesuit while twerking with a dwarf during a performance of her hit "We Can't Stop." Later, she changed into a revealing white bodysuit for a more stripped-down performance of her song "Wrecking Ball."
