'Duck Dynasty' Phil Robertson Buys Wife Lavish Christmas Gift
It took half a century, but Phil Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" has bought his wife, Marsha Kay, a wedding ring for Christmas.
"After 50 years of marriage Papaw Phil finally gave Mamaw Kay a wedding ring for Christmas," granddaughter Sadie Robertson tweeted Wednesday.

The gift for his wife of 47 years comes on the heels of inflammatory anti-gay comments Robertson, 67, made to GQ magazine this month, resulting in an indefinite suspension from his hit show on A&E. (ABC is a part owner of the A&E Network.)
The picture Sadie Robertson tweeted shows the "Duck Dynasty" patriarch pointing to the new bling he just got his wife, 63, as she smiles wide, wearing a festive red Christmas shirt. Robertson has on his classic Camo pants.
As for Robertson's comments, including that homosexuality is a sin and he never saw the mistreatment of any black person growing up in Louisiana before the civil rights era - the Rev. Jesse Jackson decided to weight in earlier this week in a statement obtained by ABC News.

"These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago," Jackson said.
"At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law. Robertson's statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was 'white privilege.'"
Even with Jackson's urging A&E to uphold his suspension from the show, Robertson has said, "I will not give or back off from my path."
