Khloe Kardashian Says 'I've Lost 30 Pounds, and I'm Feeling Good'

What a difference a year makes: Khloe Kardashian, left, at an L.A. event on Dec. 17, 2012, and, right, in Beverly Hills, on Dec. 11, 2013.

It's been a rough 2013 for Khloe Kardashian.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, 29, filed for divorce from Lamar Odom earlier in December after months of alleged drug use and infidelity on the part of the basketball star. So, it's no surprise that Kardashian is excited about the year finally coming to a close.

"I love the new year, new beginnings. I need a good fresh start. I'm excited for this year to be over with," she told U.K. Cosmopolitan in its latest cover story. "We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun."

She added that while things may not have worked out with Odom, she has no regrets.

"My life has made me who I am at this moment, and I'm very happy with who I am. No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly. It happens and it makes you you," she said.

While starting a new chapter in her life, Kardashian hasn't lost her sense of humor and ability to focus on the positives.

"In the past year I think I've lost around 30 pounds, and I'm feeling good," she told the magazine. "I've worked very hard on my body, so I think now I can sex it up a little!"

Kardashian also revealed how she found out her mother, Kris Jenner, wanted Khloe to get a nose job when she was younger. She's glad she never buckled to the pressure and hasn't ever touched her nose.

"She didn't mean harm, but when I was around 9 I overheard my mum telling her friend I needed a nose job," she said. "I was shocked. I hadn't even thought about it. I've grown into my face, but I've had makeup artists tell me, 'You should get a nose job.' I'm so happy that I never have."
