Kelly Clarkson doesn't know the gender of her baby yet, but she has a name picked out that will work either way.

"You won't guess it," she told Ellen DeGeneres. "[But] it's not like, some weird famous person, that's gonna be like, 'Blue Jazz!'"

Last month, Clarkson, 31, announced that she and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, are expecting their first child, and unfortunately for the "American Idol" winner, it's been a rough 11 weeks.

"I vomit a good dozen times a day," she said. "I vomited before coming out here! … It's, like, so gross."

"You're not attractive when you're pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That is total crap," she continued. "My nails are short, my hair still falls out - it's not all lush and beautiful - and I have no glow. Unless it's, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It's horrible."

In spite of her illness, Clarkson insists that she's thrilled to become a mother.

"I'm so happy I'm pregnant," she said. "I just wish he or she would stop trying to kill me."
