Why Jack Nicholson Sent Jennifer Lawrence a Bottle of Cristal
It turns out that when Jack Nicholson interview-bombed best actress Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence at last year's Academy Awards and told her, "I'll be waiting," he wasn't kidding.

The 76-year-old actor, an Oscar winner himself, has continued waiting for the 23-year-old starlet, and sent her gifts along the way.
"He sent me some flowers and a bottle of Cristal and a note that said 'Missing you already,'" Lawrence told ABC News' Bianna Golodryga. "Not to brag."

It was last February that Nicholson popped up out of nowhere as Lawrence was just beginning an interview backstage at the Oscars with "Good Morning America" co-host George Stephanopoulos.
"You did such a beautiful job. I didn't mean to cross into your interview but I had to congratulate you," Nicholson told a star-struck Lawrence.

As Nicholson walked away, Lawrence put her hands in her face and said, "Oh my God. Is he still there?"
"I'll be waiting," said Nicholson, who had by then popped his head back into the interview as a surprise.
The pair haven't spoken since that fateful night last February, according to Lawrence, who later regretted spilling the beans.
"I should have probably kept that a secret so it could just be between me and Jack," she told Golodryga.
Jennifer Lawrence Talks About Tackling Fame
Since then, Lawrence has gone on to star in the "Hunger Games" sequel and is now generating more awards season buzz for her role as Rosalyn, the manic and manipulative wife of Christian Bale's character in "American Hustle."
And, she's also gained a legion of celebrity fans beyond just Nicholson.
In November, another Oscar winner, Julia Roberts, told MTV that Lawrence was too cool to join her and actresses like Meg Ryan and Reese Witherspoon in the "America's Sweethearts" club.
"I think she's fabulous, but she seems cooler than me," Roberts told MTV. "She shoots flaming arrows. Is this a new Cupid tactic?"
Despite the acclaim of A-listers, Lawrence remains just as starstruck as she was by Nicholson back in February.
"Wow, that's so cool," Lawrence said of Roberts' comments. "Julia Roberts talked about me!"
