With "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" officially in theaters today, a lot of fans are finding that an unusual cameo made its way into the movie.
Rapper Kanye West, who is never afraid to speak his mind, appears toward the end of the film as a rival type character to Ron Burgundy.
Ferrell told reporters Sunday in NYC that West, 36, was a pleasure to have on set while filming.
"That was really fascinating because he came on our set and was exactly the antithesis of what you'd think he'd be," the actor said. "He's such a fan of comedy; he's almost reverential and quiet around us. He stayed for two days, we shot him out immediately and he wanted to hang around the whole time."
Ferrell, 46, added that he was actually impressed with West's multitasking ability.
"He's kind of the most prolific, creative person I've ever been around because while he was offset he was on the phone, talking about a photo shoot, he was writing down music lyrics for another thing. His mind I think is constantly working," he said.
Ferrell closed by saying he would absolutely work with West again if give the opportunity.
