Former "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard is engaged to beau Tyler Johnson, US Weekly reported.

Johnson proposed Jan. 4 at her home in Charlotte, N.C.

"We're really excited," Maynard told US Weekly. "He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki [her 8-year-old daughter] and me rings. It was so sweet. Ricki loves him more than she likes me."

Maynard met Johnson a few months after filming "The Bachelorette," according to the magazine, but they did not officially become a couple until she split from then-fiancé Jef Holm.

Now they're excited to make things official. "We definitely are looking to get married sooner rather than later," the former reality-TV star told the magazine. "No point in waiting."
