Gisele Bündchen helped make one teen's holiday season a little brighter.

The supermodel made a surprise visit to Karina Xavier, a popular teenage blogger who was diagnosed with cancer. The two first met at a charity event two years ago, as both live in the Boston area.

"From the moment you surprised me, until the moment you left, I was so shocked for you being here with me! Thank you so much for taking time off of your day to come visit me and spend some time with me!" wrote the 15-year-old, whose site is chicbykarina.com, on Instagram.

"Also thank you for your kind words and your very meaningful gifts! You are a great person and you will continue inspiring me. I love you @giseleofficial. And to my followers: Stay tuned for something special on my blog!!! I'm so happy!!!!!!"

Xavier also posted a photo of herself doing Bundchen's makeup and a snapshot of the two enjoying a snack.

"It was a pleasure to see you again @chicbykarina. You are warrior, an inspiration of positivity and courage," Bundchen responded. "I will be praying for you. Sending you love and light always."

According to one of Xavier's recent videos, she has a tumor in her lungs and a cancer behind her knees. The Brazilian-born ninth-grader had been previously diagnosed with lung cancer at age 12, but this past year she'd been in remission, reported the New York Daily News.
