Inside Julia Roberts' Relaxed Golden Globes Prep
If Julia Roberts was nervous about sporting a new look at the Golden Globes last night, she sure didn't show it while getting ready, said celebrity manicurist Lisa Jachno.
Jachno has been doing the "August: Osage County" star's nails for nine years.
"I've been through her pregnancies, I've been to her house," she said. "She's a wonderful, wonderful friend."
Last night, Roberts, 46, got a mixed reaction to her look - a black dress with a white blouse tucked in. Jancho said the dress was already there when she arrived to work on Roberts, but thinks the actress pulled it off.

"I think everybody thought it was something different for her," she said. "But I think she looked great. I loved that it hugged her body."
Jachno doesn't know how or why Roberts chose the ensemble, but she knows exactly how she chose her makeup and nail color. Jachno said it was a team effort and that she worked on Roberts, along with the makeup artist.
For the nails, Jachno used a deep purple by Lancome for more of a modern look to go with the smoky eye makeup.
"She was very excited about the night and loved her hair up," Jachno added. "She wanted to keep her lips natural because she does have a lot of color to her lips."

She continued that Roberts "was excited to be there with her husband and to see all the people that she loves. Tom Hanks is a great friend and Meryl Streep, the great atmosphere of sitting together and seeing everyone."
And before an awards show that's high in drama, Roberts got a nice little treat from her manicurist. "She was very relaxed. I gave her a hand and foot massage which she loved," she said.
Having known Roberts for almost a decade, Jachno explained what makes her such a special superstar.
"She makes you feel like her friend and always introduces you as her friend," she added. "She's just a very caring individual. You never feel nervous around Julia, she just always makes you feel welcome. She appreciates things you do for her."
