Is LeBron James' Protective Mask Similar to These Movie Characters?

During the Knicks game on Thursday night, Miami Heat player LeBron James wore a striking black protective mask. And, of course, it went viral on Twitter.

James is wearing the protective mask because he was injured Jan. 20 during an Oklahoma City Thunder game.

The mask reminded many on social media of a few popular TV and movie characters.

Some compared it to the "Caped Crusader," Batman:

Others thought it looked a lot like the dashing Zorro:

Another, thought it looked very similar to a character from the "Star Wars" movies:
