Christina Applegate has a get out of jail card.

Literally.

The actress said that "many, many years ago," an air marshal gave one to her as a gift.

"If I get into any trouble with the law, apparently, all I do is show them that card," she told the Huffington Post. "Usually the NYPD, or at least back then, would let you go."

She should be OK for the time being. Applegate, who gave birth to her daughter Sadie three years ago, has been laying low since her sitcom "Up All Night" was canceled last year.

"I love being a stay-at-home mom. It's the best, most gratifying and most beautiful thing that's ever happened to me," she said. "But it's getting to the point where I probably should have a job!"
