Bryan Cranston Channels Walter White to Help Teen Land Prom Date

It's probably a good thing she said yes.

With prom around the corner one young "Breaking Bad" fan found a unique way to ask his date to the prom: by getting Walter White to do it.

Stefan Montana asked Bryan Cranston, who is appearing in the play "All the Way" on Broadway, for the favor as the actor left the theater.

"Maddie, if you don't go to the prom with Stefan than maybe your best course of action is to tread lightly," Cranston said in character.

"I don't think there's any saying no to Walter White," Montana told ABC News after finding out his date said yes.

Although he conceded "If she did say no then …"

"He would kill me," Montana's date Maddie answered for him. "It was a threat, but a kind threat."
