Will Robin Thicke's New Song Win Back Paula Patton?

"Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke will debut a new song when he performs at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards and, according to reports, Thicke hopes his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton, is watching.

The song is called "Get Her Back" and includes the lyrics, "I should've kissed you longer/ I should've held you stronger," and, "All I wanna do is make it right," according to TMZ.

Thicke, 37, and Patton, 38, split earlier this year after being together for 21 years, including nine years as a married couple. They are also the parents of a 3-year-old son, Julian.

Thicke made headlines just prior to his split from Patton with a risqué performance alongside Miley Cyrus at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. He also tried to woo Patton back just after their split, saying onstage at a concert that he was "trying to get my girl back," before breaking into his 2007 hit "Lost Without You."

That concert, however, was not broadcast before millions of people on TV as this Sunday's telecast of the Billboards Music Awards will be.

"They separated, we're told, because of the Miley Cyrus incident at the VMAs," said Mike Walters of TMZ. "This is just as live and grandiose of a stage to say, 'I want you back.'"

Patton told Vanity Fair in its latest issue that she still has "deep love" for her ex.

"We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there - always was, and always will be," Patton told the magazine when asked if she and the singer will remain apart.
