Portia de Rossi will join the fourth season of "Scandal," and her spouse, Ellen DeGeneres, couldn't be prouder.

The talk show host broke the news Wednesday when she bragged on Twitter about de Rossi's "top secret" storyline on the hit ABC series.

"So annoying when people brag on twitter & that's why I'm not tweeting that Portia just signed on to do a top secret arc on 'Scandal'. Oops," DeGeneres tweeted.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed that de Rossi will appear in a multiple-episode arc when "Scandal" returns Sept. 25.
