Watch Gisele Bundchen, David Beckham, John Krasinski and Other Celebs Do the Ice Bucket Challenges

Seems like all the stars these days are going under the bucket - the ice bucket, that is.

Celebrities are taking part in the social media craze of the summer - the ALS "Ice Bucket Challenge."

The challenge - to donate $100 or get doused in a bucket of ice water - has raised an unprecedented $15.6 million in donations for the ALS Association, compared with $1.8 million during the same period last year.

It's due in no small part to the stars who have gotten drenched (and opened their wallets) while passing along the challenge to their fellow celebrities.

David Beckham was nominated by Ryan Seacrest, and then challenged Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Tom Cruise accepted a challenge from Hugh Jackman, and, along with "Mission Impossible 5? writer Chris McQuarrie, made donations on behalf of their film's cast and crew.

John Krasinski surprised his wife, Emily Blunt, on her way home from the grocery store with a bucket of ice water, and she in turn challenged Stephen Merchant.

Shakira and her partner, Gerard Piqué, accepted the challenge together. (Shakira then nominated the Pope and Chris Martin!)

Gisele Bundchen took the challenge and then nominated Anna Wintour, Mario Testino and Shakira.

Ben Affleck accepted the challenge from Tyler Perry and then challenged Jimmy Kimmel, Neil Patrick Harris, Matt Damon, and his wife Jennifer Garner.

He gave Garner a taste of what she'll be doing by tossing her in the pool after she doused him with ice water.
