Emotions ran high as Beyonce and Jay Z ended their "On the Run" stadium tour Saturday night in Paris, a city with a lot of personal meaning to the couple.

"We love Paris," Jay Z told the audience. "It's special to us because we got engaged here and this is where baby Blue was conceived."

The couple married in 2008, and their daughter, Blue Ivy, is now 2.

On stage, the superstar performers also praised one another.

"I'm your biggest fan. I love you," a teary eyed Beyonce, 33, told her husband, 44, according to The Associated Press.

Jay Z responded, "Greatest entertainer in the world. I love her. She's my wife."

The tour's final concert mirrored last month's MTV Video Music Awards, when a teary Beyonce was joined onstage by Jay Z and Blue Ivy amid numerous rumors surrounding their marriage.

Is Beyonce Pregnant with Second Child?

One recent rumor - that the couple is expecting their second child - may have been put to rest Saturday, when Jay and Bey were spotted drinking champagne backstage after the show.

For those who can't wait for footage from the Paris concert when it airs in an HBO special Sept. 20, the couple released a short film earlier today.

"Beyoncé and Jay Z: Bang Bang, Part One" is part of a trilogy of short films that appeared throughout their two-and-a-half month long tour. Shot in black and white and set to Ennio Morricone soundtrack music, Jay Z and Beyonce are a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde, as Jay put it, "on the run from everything. On the run from becoming a cliché. On the run from doing the same thing again."
