Angelina Jolie may be an honorary dame, but that doesn't necessarily make her the boss at home.

"Aaah, no," Brad Pitt told Us Weekly with a laugh Sunday at the London premiere of his new film, " Fury." "We have our own pecking order at home!"

Pitt recalled the recent royal reception, in which the queen of England made Jolie a dame of the British Empire - one of the highest honors awarded by Britain - for raising global awareness of violence against women as the co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative.

"It was just a pleasure and certainly one for the books," the proud husband told Us Weekly about the Oct. 10 ceremony. "[It was] a wonderful afternoon for our family, a great honor for Angie and something we won't forget."

Pitt and Jolie brought their brood of six kids along for the meeting with the queen.

Because Jolie, 39, is a foreign citizen, she cannot be addressed as "dame," and the award was given on an honorary basis.

Still, it was a significant achievement for the actress.

"To receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to," Jolie said in a statement. "Working on PVSI and with survivors of rape is an honor in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine."
