'Nightline' Daily Line, July 31: Romney Blames Press for Tour Gaffes
7:08 p.m. ET: The firestorm ignited last week after Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy said that those who support gay marriage are "inviting God's judgment on our nation," is not over.
Tomorrow, 500,000 people say they will join former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's " Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" by "simply showing up and eating" at one of the company's 1,600 restaurants, while protesters backed by gay and lesbian groups plan to participate in a same-sex "kiss-in" on Friday at the same stores, reports Yahoo News.
4:26 p.m. ET: BREAKING: Michael Phelps b roke the Olympic medals record Tuesday with his 19th as the United States romped to a dominating win in 4×200-meter freestyle relay at the London Games, the Associated Press reported.
4:03 p.m. ET: Snoop Dogg is re-born-and he has a new name to prove it.
The artist said at a news conference Monday in New York that he was "born again" during a visit to Jamaica in February and is ready to make music that his "kids and grandparents can listen to," reports AP.
His new name is Snoop Lion and he's set to release a reggae album this fall.

This comes after a disastrous start to Phelps' performance in London, where he finished in fourth place in Saturday's 400 meter. While he also scored a silver medal on Sunday, his London Olympics run isn't over.
Phelps will swim in the 800 meter free relay later tonight, winning a medal in that competition will make him the most decorated Olympian of all time.
