1:44 p.m. ET: A letter in which Albert Einstein dismisses the idea of "God" is being sold on eBay. The starting price is $3 million. The letter was handwritten in German to Eric B. Gutkind in 1954, a year before Einstein passed away, in response to Gutkind's book "Choose Life: The Biblical Call to Revolt".

11:33 a.m. ET: It seems like only a few weeks ago the country was still dealing with record heat. Oh wait, it was just a few weeks ago. Now we are facing historic cold.

According to the National Weather Service, there have been 643 record lows in the past week and 329 of them just over the last weekend. This morning, it was 31 degrees F in Oklahoma City, the earliest freezing temperature this early in the season in recorded history.

10:05 a.m. ET: First lady Michelle Obama is campaigner-in-chief when it comes to stumping for her husband and a key asset on the trail, yet she rarely talks about the inner workings of her marriage.
