Ambassador Wintour? After 25 years as editor-in-chief at Vogue, Anna Wintour may have another job, if she wants it. President Obama is reportedly considering Wintour, who raised more than a half million dollars for his re-election campaign, for the ambassadorship of Great Britain or France.

Facelift Complete The iconic Hollywood sign is ready for its close-up once again. The nine letters, each 45 feet tall, received a fresh coat of paint in honor of the sign's 90th birthday next year.

NASA: 'Why the World Won't End' After receiving thousands of letters from people worried about the world ending in 2012, NASA posted a message on its website, debunking fears related to comets and the ancient Mayan calendar. "Dec. 21, 2012, won't be the end of the world as we know, however, it will be another winter solstice," NASA wrote.
